Childpath is a programme we have implemented, it builds a unique memory of your child allowing you to monitor, track and analyse the information to improve your child’s learning and development as it happens. You will receive real time instant updates and photo’s as they happen through the day from your child's room leader on your child’s well-being through your smartphone/tablet or PC.
We are an approved service for the NCS scheme. To avail of your entitlement for the scheme please log onto www.ncs.gov.ie and follow the steps. On registering with the scheme you will receive a CHICK code, once you submit the CHICK code to us we can register your child with our service on the NCS scheme and reduction will come into effect on approval
If your child turns 3 before the 31st December they will qualify for the ECCE free preschool scheme, if they do not turn 3 until after the 31st December, they can attend the preschool session and you can pay for the service alternatively you can enrol them for the following September under the regulations of the ECCE scheme. Priority will be given to those who qualify for the ECCE scheme.
If your child starts in the preschool and they do not yet qualify for the ECCE scheme they are entitled to the receive the Universal Childcare Subsidy which was introduced in August 2017.
The Better Start program is a national initiative in Ireland aimed at promoting and enhancing high-quality Early Learning and Care (ELC) for children from birth to six years of age. It focuses on quality and inclusion in ELC settings, working with providers to improve standards and create inclusive environments. The program also delivers state-funded supports based on the Síolta and Aistear frameworks, ensuring positive outcomes for children. Additionally, it includes the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM), which helps identify and support children's individual needs.
During early childhood babies, toddlers and young children are learning and developing at a pace that exceeds any other stage in their lives. This is a period of great opportunity for laying important foundations for future learning and wellbeing. In early childhood, babies, toddlers and young children learn through play, fun, exploration and conversation within loving, trusting and respectful relationships. Aistear: the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework promotes a view of babies, toddlers and young children as agentic, competent and confident learners within loving and respectful relationships. The Framework celebrates early childhood as a time of being, and of enjoying and learning from early experiences, as they unfold.
